Brunel Scout District has decided that Northwinds is to be closed and a new Unit is to be opened in Filton (based at the 1st Filton Scout Group). We have been told there are 6 Leaders to run the new Unit.

The District wants the Explorers from Northwinds to form the core of the new Unit.

We'd like to say thanks for all the comments we've had from several of you and we hope you all keep up your scouting wherever it may be.

Ben, Karen, Karl, Kevin.

We now have a Facebook page which has got the pictures from our trip to Belgium. This page is replacing the website which is broken and can't be edited.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Northwinds-Explorer-Scout-Unit/140937132605385

The website (www.northwindsesu.co.uk) will be there until the end of August before being removed. The Facebook page will be left until about the end of the year.
