Module 3 – Tools for the Job
Module 6 – Changes in Scouting

This session will give you the chance to complete the training and validate Module 3 – Tools for the job and Module 6 – Changes in Scouting over a cup of tea/coffee.

Module 3 gives an understanding of
- Features and ceremonies in each section (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers)
- Games and activities
- Ready made programme activities

Module 6 explains how Scouting began and notes the significant milestones and changes that make Scouting what it is today.

plus the chance to get your other training modules validated!!!!

If you have already completed these modules there will also be a chance for a one-to-one talk with a Training Advisor either to get modules validated (where you have either already attended a course or feel that you have sufficient/existing experience in the subject to be validated) or to discuss further courses that you feel that you need to attend.

As the District cannot provide you with all the Woodbadge courses details of County run courses will be available. These are slightly longer and more detailed and tend to fill up quickly so don’t forget your diary so that you can match your availability with the dates! They do, however, give you a chance to meet with leaders from other parts of the County and pick up different ideas and contacts for your programmes.

In any event don’t forget your Training Folder plus any evidence you need to validate the modules.
