Fantastic fundraising opportunity for Scout Groups
Sainsbury’s have exclusively offered Scout Groups an opportunity to use their stores to fundraise on 13/14 December and 20/21 December.

These are traditionally two of the best fundraising weekends of the year, so this is a fantastic opportunity to raise much needed extra funds for your Groups.

Groups taking part in Community Week last year raised a massive combined total of £265,000. Think how much you could raise just before Christmas!

There are loads of different things you could do including bag packing, creating an activity corner as a drop off point for busy mums, trolley returning, offering to have your Scouts as runners for busy shoppers who’ve forgotten those mince pies which are way back in aisle……. From this information we will allocate you to a Sainsbury’s Supermarket Store which is closest to you.

We will endeavour to allocate you to your first choice and will try to accommodate your requests as much as possible, but please note this is likely to be a popular activity and more than one Group may wish to use your local supermarket.

This offer only covers Sainsbury’s Supermarkets not Local Sainsbury’s Convenience stores.

Once we have collated all of the information for all Scout Groups, it will be available on scouts.org.uk for you to find out which Supermarket you have been allocated and we will also e-mail you directly.
